Effective June 9, 2014 the ordering process for Court Transcripts has changed. An order must now be placed with an Authorized Court Transcriptionist (ACT) of your choice directly. The Ministry has indicated that you may choose your transcriptionist from a pre-approved list and has contracted an outside service provider to maintain an online list of all ACT's province-wide. All of the Authorized Court Transcriptionists (ACT’s) on this web site are on that list and orders may be placed directly from this web site.
When choosing a transcriptionist, your first and best choice is always the reporter of record. They were in the courtroom, know the lawyers, have checked the spellings, case law and quoted reference material.
Please ensure that the person(s) in your office responsible for ordering transcripts specifically requests that the Court Reporter who was in the courtroom be the transcriptionist.
Your local Court Reporters appreciate your support very much and are committed to providing you with timely and accurate transcripts.
